The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Russia in the area of a special military operation on Saturday, November 29.

It is noted that during the task, the fighter's position was subjected to constant enemy attacks. For the attacks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) used a Baba Yaga-type drone. In addition, various types of ammunition were dropped, as a result of which some defensive structures were destroyed.

Despite the impact of the fire, the private showed professionalism and did not leave his positions, holding them until the main forces arrived. As a result, the task was completed, and the actions of the serviceman helped create conditions for the Russian assault groups to move forward.

The Defense Ministry also said that Private Alexander Parapir, during aerial reconnaissance using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), detected the movement of a column of heavy enemy equipment. Having got his bearings in the situation, the fighter transmitted the coordinates of the targets to the artillery units. After receiving the information, the Russian military deployed their guns in time and fired several shots at the enemy forces, which led to their complete destruction.

The redeployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was disrupted, which significantly reduced the combat potential of the enemy in the combat area, the Defense Ministry concluded.

Earlier, on November 25, a serviceman of the Vostok group of forces destroyed a Ukrainian heavy UAV Baba Yaga using a MON-90 antipersonnel mine during the fighting to liberate the village of Otradnoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region. To do this, it was placed with the striking side in the sky, several trench candles were lit, wires were stretched, and as a result of a short circuit from the battery, the drone was eliminated.
