The wife and producer of figure skater Evgeny Plushenko, Yana Rudkovskaya, reported that the mother of figure skater Elena Kostyleva, Irina, hit her own daughter. She stated this on November 28 in the Telegram channel, also publishing a recording from a surveillance camera.

"Our service has received written permission from Lena Valery's dad to publish one of the videos made a few months ago, in which the mother of figure skater Lena Kostyleva punches her daughter in the stomach, then drops her, forcibly pulls off her skates. In the end, Lena, so talented, wonderful, and so unhappy, shields her head from her mother in fear with her hands," Rudkovskaya said.

According to her, such a thing is monstrous and unacceptable.
