During the meeting, Anna Gneush, Director of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science and Biotechnology at Kuban State Agrarian University, told the head of state that biotechnologies of the agro-industrial complex had become a priority in her research.

"Won't you feed us with genetically modified products? <...> Won't you give us a bull the size of this room for lunch?" the president joked.
