Shopping mall owners in Russia have started offering their warehouse space due to falling demand. This was announced on November 28 by the IBC Real Estate consulting company.
"As of the beginning of the fourth quarter, the total volume of such an offer in Russia amounted to 587 thousand square meters, or about 15% of the total vacant supply in the country," TASS reports.
It is noted that in Moscow and the Moscow region, the supply of retail space reaches 232 thousand square meters. m.
Earlier, on November 27, experts from SberAnalytics told Izvestia that the market for consumer goods (FMCG) grew by 12% amid an increase in online purchases and changes in consumer behavior. At the same time, it was noted that the number of purchases increased by only 2%.
