The winners of the "FACES of the District" contest were named in the capital

Moscow has summed up the results of the annual competition of local initiatives "FACES of the district", which is held by the Agency for Public Projects and is aimed at supporting the Moscow Mayor's program "My District". In 2025, over 800 applications were submitted for participation. The most sought-after areas were culture and creativity, personal development and education, as well as projects focused on family values. This was announced by the organizers.

"According to the results of the competition, 30 winners were selected. For example, these are family, patriotic, and creative programs. All the projects are diverse: from children's workshops to major charity events," said Dmitry Presnov, Head of the Department of Territorial Executive Authorities in Moscow.

In the nomination "My project idea", intended for novice participants, Alexandra Dykan won with the initiative "Music to every veteran's home". The project involves organizing themed concerts for veterans of the Great Patriotic War, special military operations, labor veterans and elderly residents of the Southern Administrative District, as well as creating studio recordings of patriotic works.

Initiatives implementing socially significant events were awarded in the "My Project" nomination. Among the winners are Alina Izyumova and Vera Raulets from the Creative Workshop, where decorative and applied arts classes are held for children.

The new nomination "PERSONS 2.0: Keepers of Traditions" was won by Yuri Yakhonin with the patriotic project "Russia — the space of one united Country" and Kristina Avetisova, who develops the volunteer center "CosMos".

The winners of the competition will receive information support, assistance in creating branded products and the opportunity to participate in city events, as well as access to training programs and partnership initiatives.
