The road to the Pskov village of Khotitsy will be closed for a year due to the construction of a bridge.

In the Pskov Municipal District, they plan to completely block the road to the village of Khotitsy for one year. Restrictions will be imposed in connection with the construction of an overpass as part of the construction of the second launch complex of the Northern Bypass of Pskov, the regional Ministry of Transport and Road Management told Pskov Newsline.

We are talking about the Khotitsy–Piskovichi–Murovica road. Traffic will be blocked in the area from the turnoff to the monument of the Ice Battle to the turnoff to Nevsky Street in the village of Khotitsy.

It is expected that the entrances will be closed on December 5, 2025, and the restriction will last exactly one year — until December 5, 2026. There are no plans to organize temporary bypass or pedestrian paths, since the entire zone will be dangerous for people and transport during the active construction period.

As the ministry explains, such a long time is associated with a large amount of work on the construction of the overpass and approaches to it with a total length of 400 m. The project is scheduled to be fully completed in November 2027.

Motorists can bypass the section along the route Chudskaya Street – Radonezhskaya Street – Solonovo village – Strukovo village – Piskovichi village – Khotitsy village (before turning onto Nevsky Street) and back. A separate additional Khotitsy – Piskovichi bus with a free transfer to the main bus No. 118 will also be organized for the villagers.
