Sergunina spoke about the new cinemas of the Moskino chain
Four new Moskino cinemas have opened in the capital: Mars in the Altufyevsky district, Dawn in Koptev, Elbrus in Tsaritsyn and Neva in Levoberezhny, Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina said. Cinemas will operate in the "Meeting Place" centers.
"All new venues are equipped with modern projection technology and a sound system. Four halls have been set up in Elbrus and Neva, five in Dawn and Mars. Cinemas are open daily from 10:00 to 22:00," Sergunina said.
In each of them there are discounts for privileged categories of citizens.
In the coming days, Russian films "Gorynych", "Alice in Wonderland" and "Letter to Santa Claus" will be shown in new cinemas. In the future, special programs with film clubs and retrospective screenings will be developed for the new spaces, which will complement the repertoire.
The Moskino network includes about 20 cinemas, which regularly host screenings and meetings with famous film critics, actors and directors.
90 percent of all domestic content is filmed in the capital. As part of the support for the film industry, the Moscow Film Cluster is being created in the city. It combines infrastructure facilities, services, and services for industry representatives. The cluster structure includes the film park and the Moskino film factory, the film platform of the same name and the Gorky Film Studio (sites on Sergei Eisenstein Street and in Valdai Passage).
