The victim in the Khobotova rehabilitation center told about bullying

On November 28, a pupil of the Anna Khobotova rehabilitation center told Izvestia how the center's employees forced the victims to carry out humiliating tasks and persuaded the girls to have sexual contacts.

"The girls very often took on assignments that included doing various jobs for consultants," the victim said.

The victim spoke in detail about one of the girls who was constantly abused by a counselor. According to her, the man forced her to kneel and follow his orders. In addition, an employee of the center beat the girl with a belt.

She also talked about a boy with developmental disabilities. According to her, he was kept in inadequate conditions, restricted in nutrition and hygiene.

The teenager also described the practice of punishments for routine violations. She explained that when they lagged behind in preparing for various events, they were assigned additional tasks that had to be completed throughout the day. According to her, the cleaning of the premises was carried out using chemicals without protective equipment.

"We often had products spilled on the floor: bleach, for example, and almost all of us just had blisters from this bleach, because they just poured it and we washed without gloves, without anything, with our naked bodies, with our bare knees we jumped on this bleach, and our whole body was covered in blisters, there we we were itching all over, we had constant allergies," said the girl.

The court arrested two suspects, but nothing is known about the whereabouts of the clinic's owner, psychologist Anna Khobotova.

Earlier, on November 25, a criminal case was opened in the Moscow suburb of Istra due to the torture and detention of 24 teenagers with various addictions in an illegal rehabilitation center. According to the investigation, psychologists were supposed to work with minors, but teenagers were beaten and tortured.

On November 26, the court placed under house arrest until January 22, 2026, an 18-year-old girl who participated in the beating of teenagers in a rehabilitation center. On the same day, the Russian Interior Ministry put Khobotov on the wanted list.

On the same day, a former employee of the Khobotova rehabilitation center told Izvestia that one of the center's consultants had an intimate relationship with underage students.
