A minor victim who was sexually abused by a rehab consultant in Dedovsk told Izvestia on November 28 how he manipulated her and prevented her from telling her parents the truth.

"Then Artur Evgenievich arrived and started talking to me. <...> He started telling me that if you sleep with me, then you won't be touched at all, you will never be offended," the girl shared.

According to the victim, the consultant promised that her parents would take her home soon, which, as the interviewee noted, was the dream of every child in the rehabilitation center. After a new ward appeared in rehab, Arthur began to get closer to her.

"When he got close to her, he started bullying me, and he told me that if I told anyone that I slept with him there, <...> it would be bad for me. <...> It would be bad for my parents," the victim said.

The girl added that the consultant threatened her that she would stay in rehab until she was 18 and "completely forget what a home is." According to the teenager, when she tried to complain about the consultant, he turned everything into a joke, and then the minor "got for it."

In addition, the rehabilitation center in Dedovsk called for keeping the entire process of "treatment" secret, explaining that it was rehabilitation, the victim shared.

The court arrested two suspects, but nothing is known about the whereabouts of the clinic's owner, psychologist Anna Khobotova.

Earlier, on November 25, a criminal case was opened in the Moscow suburb of Istra due to the torture and detention of 24 teenagers with various addictions in an illegal rehabilitation center. According to the investigation, psychologists were supposed to work with minors, but teenagers were beaten and tortured.

On November 26, the court placed under house arrest until January 22, 2026, an 18-year-old girl who participated in the beating of teenagers in a rehabilitation center. On the same day, the Russian Interior Ministry put Khobotov on the wanted list.
