A Ukrainian suspected of blowing up the Nord Streams was arrested in Germany.
The investigating judge of the Supreme Court of the Federal Republic of Germany ordered the arrest of a Ukrainian suspected of blowing up the Nord Streams. This was announced on November 28 by the German Prosecutor General's Office.
The suspect, Sergei Kuznetsov, had been extradited from Italy a day earlier. According to investigators, the accused coordinated a group of seven people who placed explosive devices on gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea in September 2022. Several explosions severely damaged both pipes, making gas transportation impossible.
