Orban announced Hungary's readiness to provide a platform for negotiations on Ukraine
Hungary is ready to provide a platform for negotiations on the Ukrainian settlement. This was announced on November 28 by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Our meeting today gives me the opportunity to confirm, Mr. President, that Hungary is ready to provide a platform for such negotiations," Orban said.
According to the Prime Minister, Hungary is ready to assist in the successful completion of this process.
Yesterday, during a press conference following a state visit to Kyrgyzstan, Putin said that Russia was in contact with the Hungarian side about a possible meeting with Prime Minister Viktor Orban. Putin noted that Moscow knows Orban's position and called it quite objective. In particular, the President drew attention to bilateral Russian-Hungarian contacts, in particular, in the field of energy cooperation.
