The Primorsky Prosecutor's office has taken special control over the investigation of a criminal case into the injury of a child on an escalator in the shopping center of the city of Fokino. A four-year-old girl was injured.

According to PrimaMedia news agency, with reference to the regional prosecutor's office, on November 27, the girl received a serious arm injury in the shopping center on Klubnaya Street. According to preliminary data, she fell down the steps, her arm was pulled under the moving parts of the mechanism. The victim was hospitalized in Nakhodka hospital.

The Prosecutor's office focuses on issues of reimbursement of medical expenses and compensation for moral damage to the child's family. The supervisory authority will also check compliance with safety requirements during operation of escalators and how the space for children in the shopping center is organized.

Earlier it was reported that in the Kurgan region, the prosecutor's office of the Polovinsky district secured compensation in favor of a boy who was injured at a summer camp. The institution must pay the child 100,000 rubles by court order. It was established that when the minor was in a health camp, he was injured while exercising on a horizontal bar. At the same time, the camp management did not provide the necessary control over the child.
