Vitaliy Kropyvnytskyi, a militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), said on Friday, November 28, that the command had abandoned them in Krasnoarmeysk without warm clothes.

Kropyvnytskyi said that before getting into the position, he underwent training that lasted one day. Two Frenchmen came to them, told them about mines, grenades, explosive devices, the soldier recalls.

He stayed in the position for about 25 days. Kropyvnytskyi was sitting in a trench, along with two other Ukrainian soldiers.

"Summer clothes, it was cold," says the prisoner in a video distributed by the Russian Defense Ministry.

He shared that the wounded were not taken out, and little food was dropped, these were NATO—style dry rations - American or German.

During one of the battles, Kropyvnytskyi was wounded, and then he was captured by Russian soldiers. In captivity, he was given medical care, food and water.

On the same day, Artyom Sadovey, a soldier of the 57th separate motorized infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that he had voluntarily surrendered to Russian soldiers and would leave the territory of Ukraine if he returned there as part of an exchange.
