New premium Voyah Taishan SUV spotted in Moscow

The new flagship of the Voyah brand, the Voyah Taishan SUV, which had its world and Russian premiere last week, was spotted on the streets of the capital. The car was captured by a correspondent of Izvestia on November 28 in the street parking lot near the editorial office building.

The 5.2 m long SUV is equipped with a 515 hp "parallel" hybrid powerplant. The 1.5 liter turbo engine not only provides battery charging, but also delivers traction to the wheels. A traction battery with a capacity of 65 kW/h provides a power reserve of 350 km, and the total power reserve of a car with a full tank exceeds 1400 km. Charging the battery from 20% to 80% takes 12 minutes.

Voyah Taishan has three rows of seats equipped with electric controls, heating and ventilation. Massage is available on two rows of seats, with two split armchairs with ottomans in the middle row. The flagship SUV is equipped with a semi-autonomous driving system and a multimedia system developed in partnership with Huawei.

A correspondent for Izvestia reported on November 18 that the Voyah Taishan prices and equipment will be announced in December. The cars will be imported, but there are no plans to assemble them in Russia yet. Voyah Taishan will be offered in three trim levels: Max, Max+ and Ultra. A Black Warrior version with a black body, dark wheels and a red and black interior will also be available at the start of sales. The basic version already includes an air suspension and three rows of seats. The palette of body colors includes eight options, including two-tone ones. There are three interior options — red, white and brown.
