In Primorye, the CEO of a construction company was accused of fraud for 25 million rubles.

In the city of Vladivostok, Primorsky Krai, the general director of construction companies is accused of fraud in the amount of more than 25 million rubles. This was announced on November 28 by the regional prosecutor's office in its Telegram channel.

"According to the investigation, the defendant <...> created six affiliated companies. In the period from September 2017 to November 2019, without intending to fulfill his obligations, he concluded 16 fictitious contracts for the construction of individual residential buildings, <...> causing damage to them totaling over 25 million rubles," the publication says.

It is noted that a criminal case was opened on this fact in accordance with Parts 3 and 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud committed on a large and especially large scale").

Earlier, on November 17, it was reported that the former head of the Sovetsky City District of the Kaliningrad region was accused of fraud on an especially large scale. According to the investigation, in 2017, the accused, being an adviser to the head of the Guryevsky city district, offered the director of a municipal institution to transfer 75% of the company's profits to him on a weekly basis.
