Already in November, Russian residents are planning a budget for the New Year's table. About how much it will cost Russians to create a New Year's table this year, November 28, "Gazeta.Ru" was told by the consultant on strategic and anti-crisis management, the General director of OOO "Together.ABOUT " Olesya Berezhnaya.
According to the expert, a traditional full New Year's Eve dinner for four people, including two hot dishes, meat and cheese cuts, three salads, sandwiches with red fish and red caviar, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, can amount to about 12 thousand rubles. This amount is obtained if the family cooks all the dishes themselves.
"For example, cooking baked chicken will cost about 512 rubles, while beef ham will have to spend almost three and a half times more <...>. The most expensive beef, according to official data, is observed in the Urals. Simply replacing beef with chicken will save up to 1,600 rubles. Meat slicing will cost 587 rubles on average in Russia, with fluctuations depending on the region," Berezhnaya explained.
At the same time, many components of the table can be replaced with a cheaper alternative. For example, instead of caviar sandwiches, you can make similar ones with sprats, which are nine times cheaper.
The expert claims that despite the high cost of the table, the final cost depends on many factors.
In addition to looking for alternatives, Berezhnaya recommended not succumbing to New Year's advertising and focusing on the real income of the family.
Earlier, on November 26, Cooper delivery analysts talked about the cost of home decorations for the New Year. According to analysts, an artificial spruce can be bought at a price starting from 1,590 rubles, and a live tree will cost from 5,000 rubles.
