After the case involving singer Larisa Dolina, the courts in Russia began to massively return apartments to sellers who claim that they made a deal under the influence of fraudsters. Svetlana Razvorotneva, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction, drew attention to this on November 27.

"Probably, this wave, when sellers, declaring themselves sellers under the influence, begin to demand the apartment back, and the courts make such decisions, it really began after the Dolina case. Although we don't have case law, the courts look at our colleagues. Unfortunately, they started repeating this story," she said on Duma TV.

The parliamentarian pointed out that currently there are no concepts of "transaction under influence" and "seller under influence" in Russian legislation, and there are no signs of fraudsters' influence that need to be presented in court. As a result, decisions are made in every court "to the best of their ability."

Dolina lost her savings in August 2024 due to phone scams and sold the apartment at their request. From April to June, the attackers in Ukraine deceived the singer, forcing her to transfer funds. The actress realized that she had become a victim of deception, and contacted law enforcement agencies.

In March of this year, the Khamovnichesky district Court of the capital ruled in favor of Dolina on the counterclaims of the singer and Polina Lurie. As a result, the court recovered more than 69 million rubles in favor of the singer in the framework of the criminal case. Later, on September 8, the court dismissed Lurie's appeal. At the same time, the Moscow City Court recognized the legal decision on the ownership of the disputed apartment for Dolina, her daughter and granddaughter. On October 27, Lurie appealed the decision to invalidate the purchase and sale of the artist's real estate to the Court of Cassation.

On November 27, the Second Court of Cassation rejected Polina Lurie's complaint against the decision in the Dolina apartment sale case and left the singer's property in the singer's possession.
