A chess bee was returned to its place in Simferopol

In Simferopol, one of the bronze figures of a bee, which was installed in the Catherine Square of Simferopol, was returned to its place. Previously, two figurines were stolen by unknown persons.

"Our Chess Bee has arrived in its place!", — reported in the public of the Simferopol Bees project on the VKontakte social network.

The activists also thanked the administration of the Crimean capital, MBU "Gorod" and the master who restored the integrity of the figurine.

According to IA SevastopolMedia, the fate of the second statuette, the bee—river nymph, is not reported.

The bee is a symbol of the capital of Crimea, its image is placed on the flag and coat of arms of the city.

The first bees settled on the streets of Simferopol in 2018. They were made and placed by activists of one of the enterprises. Currently, about fifty bees have been installed in the city.
