U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth visited the CVN 78 Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier in the Caribbean on Thanksgiving Day. This was announced on November 27 by the Pentagon on the social network X.

In the video, the Minister of War can be seen arriving on the ship, shaking hands, presumably with its captain. In another video, Hegseth speaks on speakerphone.

"I just talked to the men and women of the USS Gerald R. Ford. America is eternally grateful to the soldiers who ensure its safety," the publication says.

According to the US News channel, Hegseth also said that he was worried about two National guardsmen who were seriously injured the day before during a terrorist attack at the White House.
