Lieutenant Dmitry Lishanov led a reconnaissance group during an assault operation to capture enemy fortified positions. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on Friday, November 28.
It is noted that the lieutenant commanded during the execution of the task of destroying manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The enemy fired mortars and artillery at the positions. A group led by Lishanov bypassed the enemy stronghold with a mortar from the rear, which allowed them to secretly approach the target.
During the operation to capture the support post, the officer competently organized the capture, as a result of which the task was successfully completed. During the ensuing battle, the commander of the group personally destroyed three soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In turn, the Russian military, as a result of competent command, emerged from the clash without losses.
The Defense Ministry also said that Junior Sergeant Rinat Bikchintayev provided fire support to the assault units. As part of an infantry fighting vehicle, a soldier eliminated a fortification and a machine-gun crew of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under artillery fire. The decisive actions of the fighter created the conditions for the successful advancement of the assault units, the defense ministry noted.
A day earlier, Sergeant-Major Alexander Kolychev, who was performing tasks as part of the reconnaissance group, discovered two fortified dugouts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with enemy personnel and artillery, which were subsequently destroyed.
