The FSB detained a suspect in treason from Sverdlovsk
Employees of the Russian FSB directorate for the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) have detained a resident of Sverdlovsk suspected of treason. This was announced on November 27 by the press service of the department.
According to the agency, a Russian citizen collected and transmitted information about the locations of units of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) to representatives of the Ukrainian special services. The investigation found that the man had provided military information that could harm the country's security.
A criminal case on treason has been opened.
Earlier, on November 16, it was reported that a court in Stavropol sentenced a local resident to 13.5 years in a high treason case. According to investigators, the defendant expressed his willingness to cooperate with the Ukrainian special services and, on the instructions of the curator, collected information about the location of Russian military units and facilities of the fuel and energy complex.
