Another 48 new buses are expected to arrive in Kurgan by the end of 2025 to operate on municipal routes. The city administration reports this in its Telegram channel.

"88 buses will be updated in 2025. 40 of them have already been received by carriers. It is planned to purchase 48 more buses by the end of the year," the message says.

The renewal of the fleet is aimed at improving the quality of passenger service. According to the <url> news agency, a non-conductive system is also being introduced in Kurgan's public transport.

Earlier on this day, it was reported that 48 schools and 14 kindergartens are planned to be renovated in the Kurgan Region in 2026-2027, as well as to start building a school in the village of Ust-Uyskoye in the Virgin District. Meanwhile, the construction of a new modern gymnasium building with 200 seats continues in Kurgan.
