Cosmetologist gave tips on protecting the skin from dryness in winter

In an interview with Radio 1 on Thursday, November 27, she noted that with the onset of cold weather and the beginning of the heating season, many people really notice tightness and dehydration of the skin. According to her, on the first day after turning on the heating, she herself felt severe dryness — not only on her face, but even in her eyes, which made it unpleasant to blink.
The expert explained that the main reason for such sensations is damage and over—drying of the stratum corneum of the skin, and deep moisturizing procedures help to solve the problem. She recommended actively moisturizing the skin, as well as using peels, since autumn, winter and early spring are the right time for such procedures.
The cosmetologist added that creams with ceramides and dexpanthenol are useful in home care, which help restore the skin barrier, and with more pronounced problems it is worth turning to professional salon procedures.
