Russia is ready to share weapons and equipment with its CSTO partners. This was announced on November 27 by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a press conference after a state visit to Kyrgyzstan.

"We provide preferential conditions for the purchase of our weapons and equipment for the CSTO countries," he said.

Putin added that the organization's member countries "will, as they have done before, conduct appropriate joint exercises in all areas," including cooperation between the armed forces and special services. The Russian President also noted that military cooperation between the CSTO countries has remained deep since the days of the Soviet Union.

On the same day, The Times of India (TOI) reported that India would purchase additional missiles from Russia for the S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems. The Indian Ministry of Defense also plans to purchase interceptors with ranges of 100, 200, 250 and 380 km to replenish stocks used up during the recent conflict with Pakistan.
