Researchers from the Higher School of Economics and other Russian and foreign scientific organizations have identified the longest case of coronavirus infection in Kaluga. This was reported on November 27 in the journal Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology.

It is noted that the 2020 SARS-CoV-2 virus strain was detected in a resident of Kaluga, which she had been carrying for two years.
