Analysts have calculated the cost of owning a Chinese premium car
On average, a Chinese premium car is cheaper than similar models of bygone brands. Dmitry Peretz, head of Avito Auto analytics, told about this on November 27 during the Auto Summit conference.
The cost of servicing such cars from China as Lixiang or Zeekr is about 93 thousand rubles per year. Whereas an average of 144 thousand rubles are spent per year on cars of brands that have gone in Russia. The amount includes taxes, insurance, fuel and other expenses, Dmitry Peretz noted.
The calculations were based on Avito Auto's internal data for the period from October 2024 to October 2025. The data is relevant for Moscow and the Moscow region with an annual mileage of 13 thousand km.
On November 25, Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, reported that over the past three months, from August to October, car stock at dealers and distributors in Russia had decreased by more than 100,000 units. From August to October, 411 thousand new passenger cars were sold on the Russian market. At the same time, Russian enterprises produced 197,000 cars, and another 112,000 new passenger cars were imported into the country.
