A workshop for the production of counterfeit household chemicals was liquidated in the Moscow region

Employees of the Department of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region have liquidated a workshop for the production of counterfeit household chemicals. This was announced on November 27 by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Irina Volk in the Telegram channel.

"During the search, police officers seized about 8,000 cans of laundry detergents, detergents, soap and shampoos. Three bags with various chemical components were also found," the statement said.

According to Volk, the company was located in one of the buildings of a warehouse complex in the city of Elektrogli, where household chemicals, finished products, plastic containers, reagents and labels with logos of well-known brands were packaged on an automated line.

The investigation believes that the workshop has been operating for more than a year under the supervision of a foreign citizen. The company employed two employees, who, in turn, are also foreigners.

On the same day, Roskachestvo reported that signs of falsification were detected in half of the tested olive oil brands. It was noted that by analyzing the fatty acid composition, it was possible to determine that the oils of seven of the 15 samples contain impurities of other oils, which are added to reduce the cost of the product.
