US Secretary of the Army Daniel Driscoll told European diplomats that US President Donald Trump has decided to try a new approach to resolving the conflict in Ukraine. This was reported on November 27 by The Atlantic magazine.

"One of the diplomats demanded to explain why the United States changed course so abruptly, thwarting attempts to put pressure on Russia through sanctions," the publication says.
