Putin announced constant contact between Russia and Tajikistan on security issues

Russia and Tajikistan are in constant contact on security issues. This was announced on November 27 by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a bilateral meeting with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.

"The governments are working in all priority areas, our trade turnover is growing, which is the most important thing. We are also in constant contact with you on regional security issues," Putin said.

He also stressed that the ministries and a number of departments of the two states interact with each other. The Russian leader noted that cooperation between Russia and Tajikistan is proceeding according to coordinated plans.
