Garbuzov spoke about strengthening the training of engineering personnel in universities

Moscow enterprises are strengthening cooperation with universities on the training of engineering personnel for high-tech sectors of the economy. This was announced by Anatoly Garbuzov, Minister of the Moscow Government and Head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department.

Moscow's enterprises help universities to form a talent pool, noted Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. In particular, the Moscow Polytechnic University is actively engaged in the training of future engineers, on the basis of which the advanced engineering school of technological leadership FDR operates.

"Another example of effective cooperation between science and manufacturers is the work of the Russian Technological University (RTU MIREA). In his laboratories, digital counterparts of real production systems are being created, allowing them to simulate, test and optimize technological processes," said Garbuzov.

He stressed that the university pays special attention to practice-oriented training of personnel who can effectively work with real projects and tasks at the start of their career. RTU MIREA's partners include more than 160 leading enterprises and organizations, including Moscow manufacturers.

So, since 2019, the Moscow innovative biotechnological enterprise Generium JSC has been implementing the unique educational project MabStudy at RTU MIREA. Bachelors and masters complete their theses based on the manufacturer's projects.

In the summer of 2025, Generium laboratories hosted a two—week intensive course for 68 young scientists, students of Russian universities, as well as students of the Volginsky Lyceum. academician I.A. Bakulov. The objectives of the championship were based on real processes taking place in R&D and production. The winners were seven participants — students of SPHFU and ITMO, Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University, Ural Federal University, MIPT, Sechenov Moscow State Medical University and Siberian State Medical University.
