On November 27, the participants of the REN TV Fight Club held an open training session, talked to the press and young fans, who were exposed to secret techniques.

The number of training sessions behind boxers cannot be counted, but one is special. Rivals who have been preparing to hurt each other for a long time and persistently will have to train in the same gym.

"There are more cameras here than on the red carpet. But the most interesting thing is that Vologda boxers are standing nearby, who also want to ask questions to their idols," said Izvestia correspondent Linar Ginatullin.

Young athletes are running for autographs: some of the guys are holding out a glove for signing, and someone is holding a phone to take a picture. But the most anticipated moment for everyone is Alexey Papin's appearance — it is his master class that they are waiting for the most.

"I think for sure one of these guys was rooting for either me or Zhenya Goncharov. It was this moment that was more pleasant for them," said Papin.

Alexey's opponent, Rolly Lambert Fogum, never got into the ring, even to work on his paws. He limited himself to autographs.

"I'm not used to it because I live in Dubai. When you come to Russia, you realize how cold it is here," he said.

And the fighter of the main event of the tournament, Evgeny Goncharov, immediately made it clear in the ring "who is the boss here." He conducted the training as if to emphasize his superiority: he is lighter than Greg Hardy's opponent, which means he is more resilient, and Goncharov has noticeably more experience in boxing.

"Where he studied, I taught there," Goncharov said.

Hardy, in turn, maintains a cool calculation. When the correspondent asked why the American fighter would not simply kick his opponent out of the ring and gain attention himself, he replied modestly and with respect to the hosts of the tournament.

"In America, maybe it would look good, but in Russia it's disrespectful to do that," Hardy said.

The participants of another equally exciting match, Evgeny Schmidt and Venezuelan champion Victor Manuel Perez Arias, are also currently preparing.

The 38-year-old Papin's fight with Cameroonian Rolly Lambert Fogum will take place as part of the REN TV Fight Club tournament in Vologda on November 28. Papin is an international master of sports, an absolute world champion in kickboxing and a former IBF International champion. Cameroonian fighter Fogum holds the titles of African Champion, Asian Champion and IBF intercontinental title, and in 2024 won the vacant WBF world title.
