The heroic comedy "There is only a Moment" has been widely released
On November 27, the premiere of the film "There is only a Moment" about the feat of Soviet citizens who aspired to their dreams during the Great Patriotic War took place in Moscow. The heroic comedy tells the story of a Soviet pilot who, after being wounded, is sent to a false airfield to distract the enemy.
The premiere of the film "There is only a Moment" on Novy Arbat gathered viewers of different generations. The film takes place in 1944 during the preparation for Operation Bagration, the purpose of which is the liberation of Belarus and the defeat of the fascist army Group Center. While the Soviet units are preparing for a large-scale offensive, at one of the false airfields, the personnel are developing a strategy to disorient the enemy.
The military theme did not prevent the scriptwriters from adding humorous episodes and classifying the film as a heroic comedy. Aerial duel scenes were filmed in the pavilions using the latest LED screens. The directors sought to reliably show historical events.
"These were real MiGs, real planes that were lifted high on brackets. You instantly get ready and get used to the whole story when bullets, smoke, and a plane are flying past you," said Svetlana Antonova, the performer of the role of Olga Yamshchikova in the film "There is only a Moment."
The film includes scenes with cornering battles, explosions and chases on the ground, and espionage intrigues.
"It will be especially interesting for children to watch this, because there is no blood, there are no pseudo—Hollywood special effects that our cinema does not need," said Anton Batyrev, the performer of the role of Captain Kalugin in the film "There is only a Moment."
The film "There is only a Moment" was shot with the participation of NMG Film Distribution, part of the holding company of the National Media Group.
"From whom and what kind of reaction I expect — first of all, from young people. The guys aged 15, 16, 17 will watch the movie and tell if they liked it or not," said Igor Ugolnikov, the general producer of the film.
Film critic Nikolai Nikulin said on November 13 that "There is Only a Moment" is a unique fusion of history, high-quality action and comedy, which is worth watching. During the Great Patriotic War, the success of offensive operations was largely determined not only by the courage and heroism of the Soviet soldier, but also by the tactical genius of the country's military leadership. All this is reflected in the new film about the war.
