A local resident was arrested in Astrakhan in connection with the preparation of sabotage and a terrorist attack.

A court in Astrakhan has arrested a resident of the region, who was accused of attempted sabotage and a terrorist act. This was reported on November 28 by the RIA Novosti news agency with reference to court materials.

Alexander Dvoryanchikov is charged under Part 3 of Article 30 of paragraphs "a, b" and part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted sabotage and terrorist act committed by a group of persons by prior agreement." He was poisoned in jail until December 16.
