More than 35 charity events were held in Zelenograd for the children of the SVO fighters.

In Zelenograd, free classes are available for children of participants in the special military operation (SVO) in more than 220 clubs and sections, which were opened on the basis of the Association of Cultural and Leisure Centers (OCC) of the Zelenograd Administrative District (ZelAO). This was reported on November 27 on the official portal of Moscow. mos.ru .

Various directions are available for participants, such as sports sections, creative workshops and dance studios. Over the past three and a half years, over 35 charity events have also been organized. Several events will also be held in the remaining year, with the next ones scheduled for December.

"In Matushkin, in building 409, children from nine to 15 years old are expected at the chess club, where classes are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. This is a good opportunity to develop strategic thinking, attention and the ability to make informed decisions," the organizers reminded.

At the same time, there is a Ratatosk reconstruction club for children in Kryukov. Every Thursday and Sunday, the participants of the circle immerse themselves in the medieval era: the guys recreate household items, weapons and costumes of that era.

On the eve of the New Year, the Prefect's Christmas Tree will be the key event for the children of the participants.

"Applications for free New Year's gifts and tickets for festive performances will be accepted from December 1. To apply, you must contact the Department for community relations of the city council at the place of registration of the child, having with you documents confirming the right to benefits," the publication says.

Earlier, on November 26, the portal reported that activists of the Gagarin district Youth Chamber had made eight humanitarian flights in Moscow, delivering everything they needed to the participants of their military and residents of the border territories. It is noted that the volunteers supplied more than 10 tons of cargo, which includes consumables for chainsaws, wires for generators, batteries, grinders, axes, cameras for wheels and camouflage nets.

Also, on November 2, it was reported that more than 500 free clubs and sections were available to children of participants in a special military operation in institutions of the Northern Administrative District, the press service of the SAO Prefecture said.
