Starting from January 1, some categories of employees will receive sick leave under the new rules. Mikhail Merkulov, PhD in Law, Director of the KSK GROUP Organizational Development Practice, told the Prime agency about this on November 27.

"The Government of the Russian Federation has approved the maximum amount for calculating insurance premiums from January 2026. Its cumulative amount is 2.9 million rubles for each taxpayer (individual)," the lawyer explained.
