The State Duma proposed to freeze the prices of vital medicines until 2027

Sergei Mironov, chairman of the Fair Russia Party, proposed in the State Duma to introduce a ban on price increases for vital medicines until 2027. This became known on November 27.

It is proposed to amend the federal law "On the circulation of Medicines".

"They are bought by veterans, participants in special operations, pensioners, the disabled, people with chronic diseases. A sharp increase in prices, even by a small percentage, can worsen their financial situation, lead to a decrease in the availability of treatment and a deterioration in the health of citizens," the TASS news agency quoted Mironov as saying.

It is noted that this will also help Russians to receive preferential medicines from the state.
