Military exercises Lively Sentry with the participation of 6.5 thousand military personnel began in Finland on the border with Russia. This was announced on November 26 by the press service of the country's ground forces.

900 pieces of equipment will also be involved in the events.

"The purpose of the exercises is to maintain and develop combat capability and interoperability. A special feature of the exercises is the offensive of a mechanized combat unit," the military department reported.
