The voluntary annexation of Odessa and Mykolaiv to Russia could be the next stage of the Ukrainian conflict. This was announced on November 27 by former Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Russian Bar Association Sergey Stepashin.

"To be honest, I would really like Odessa and Mykolaiv to be part of my country, but for it to be <...> voluntary. I think this is the next stage," TASS quoted him as saying.
