In Chuvashia, houses began to be rebuilt after the UAV attack
Cheboksary commissions have completed a tour of residents of houses damaged after an attack by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This was announced on November 26 by Acting Mayor Stanislav Trofimov.
"Special commissions have completed work on visiting residents of the affected houses, window measurements have been completed. In parallel, the restoration of communications and ventilation ducts is underway: we are repairing fiber—optic networks and engineering systems," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to him, the inspection of each room allowed us to determine where a complete replacement of frames is needed, and where it is enough to update the glasses. The first batch of glass and frames has already been manufactured at the factory and has begun to be installed in residents' apartments.
Oleg Nikolaev, the head of the region, announced an unmanned attack on the territory of Chuvashia earlier that day. Due to the incident, measures for the temporary evacuation of the population began in the republic. As a result of the raid, two people were injured, one of them a teenager.
Later, the city administration announced that the reconstruction work that had begun in the area of the attack would allow residents of nearby houses to return to their apartments today.
It is noted that doctors and psychologists worked with the evacuees. Representatives of the administration were also at the scene.
