Callas proposed reducing the size of the Russian Armed Forces as part of the peace plan for Ukraine

The head of the European Diplomacy, Kai Kallas, said on November 26 that the peace plan for resolving the conflict in Ukraine should be supplemented with a clause on reducing the size of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation along with reducing the army of Ukraine.

"We must reduce the size of the Russian army," the TASS news agency quoted her as saying.

Callas also suggested that Russia reduce the country's military budget as a concession as part of a peace plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
