"The administration of [US President Donald] Trump has no plans to invite South Africa to participate in the G20 events to be held in the United States next year," the article says.
The publication notes that this will be an unprecedented step, as the country will be excluded from meetings of the world's leading economies for the first time in more than 20 years of the forum's existence.
According to the channel's source, the US administration plans to invite Poland to participate in the 2026 summit.
The G20 summit was held in the capital of South Africa, Johannesburg, on November 22-23. At the opening ceremony, President Cyril Ramaphosa of the Republic dedicated his speech to inequality, inclusive growth and the role of developing countries in shaping the global agenda.
