The United States does not intend to invite the Republic of South Africa (RSA) to participate in the G20 summit on its territory in 2026. This was reported on November 26 by CNN, citing a source.

"The administration of [US President Donald] Trump has no plans to invite South Africa to participate in the G20 events to be held in the United States next year," the article says.

The publication notes that this will be an unprecedented step, as the country will be excluded from meetings of the world's leading economies for the first time in more than 20 years of the forum's existence.

According to the channel's source, the US administration plans to invite Poland to participate in the 2026 summit.
