Nutritionist Olga Panova warned that her favorite invigorating drinks in the cold season can imperceptibly harm the body.
In an interview with Radio 1 on Wednesday, November 26, she noted that coffee contributes to dehydration of the body and after it it is advisable to drink a glass of water to restore balance. According to her, many people consider green tea to be a good alternative, but you should be careful with it.
Panova warned that this drink has a cooling effect: it can be useful in the warmer months, but in winter such an effect is undesirable. Therefore, it is better not to drink it before going outside, writes RT.
She stressed that during the cold season it is important to quench thirst with ordinary water so as not to disrupt the body's work, and added that monitoring the drinking regime during the heating period is the key to health and protection from viruses.
Nutritionist Anton Polyakov told on November 24 when it is best to drink coffee to ensure maximum benefit. He noted that the optimal time to drink coffee is in the morning, when the drink really helps to cheer up.

People at risk — over 50 years of age, with a family predisposition, bad habits or cardiovascular diseases — are advised to temporarily reduce their consumption of instant coffee until independent evidence becomes available. A complete waiver is not required for most.
At the end of October, doctor Dmitry Karpenko warned that getting used to a life without coffee could take up to a month. In an interview with the Moscow City News agency, he noted that for the first three days a person may go through a so-called withdrawal period. There may be headaches, irritability, drowsiness. At this time, it is important to drink plenty of water and get enough sleep.
Previously, the site kp.ru He wrote that the rare consumption of weak coffee is usually safe for a healthy person, but frequent consumption — about five cups a day — can increase bone fragility and the risk of fractures, since coffee acidifies the body and provokes calcium loss. Excess can also cause headaches, insomnia, high blood pressure, and a rapid pulse.
