The court sentenced Tarasova to 3 years probation for smuggling vape with cannabis
The court found Aglaya Tarasova guilty and sentenced her to 3 years probation and a fine of 200 thousand rubles in the case of drug smuggling. This was reported on November 26 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the hall of the Domodedovo court in the Moscow region.
Earlier, the prosecutor requested 3.5 years of probation for Tarasova. Tarasova fully admitted her guilt.
On the same day, Tarasova apologized to her viewers and asked the court for a lenient punishment in the drug smuggling case. The actress also donated 200 thousand rubles for the treatment of drug-addicted children. According to her lawyer, Tarasova sent two payments of 100,000 rubles each, which are supposed to be intended for patient treatment and preventive conversations.
Tarasova was detained with drugs at Domodedovo airport on August 28. As a result of the search, an electronic cigarette with a narcotic substance was found in her suitcase. The investigation requested house arrest for the actress, she was charged under Part 1 of Article 229.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Drug smuggling"). Shortly after, the court ordered the actress to ban certain actions for two months as a preventive measure.
