The State Commission approved the crews of the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft
On Wednesday, November 26, the State Commission approved the crews of the Soyuz MS-28 manned spacecraft, whose flight to the International Space Station (ISS) is scheduled for Thursday, November 27.
It is specified that the main team included Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and Sergey Mikaev, as well as NASA astronaut Christopher Williams. The reserve group will consist of Peter Dubrov, Anna Kikina and Anil Menon.
The crew of the spacecraft will spend 242 days in orbit. The Russian program includes more than 40 scientific experiments, as well as two spacewalks.
Earlier, on November 24, a rocket carrying the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft, which has drawings of children fighting cancer, left the launch pad of the Baikonur cosmodrome. One of the participants in the program, 12-year-old Timofey, said that he drew a dog on a rocket, emphasizing that his dream had come true — he was cured and now he dreams of a pet.
