A court has placed under house arrest an 18-year-old girl who participated in the beating of teenagers at a rehabilitation center in the Moscow region. This was announced on November 26 by the Prosecutor's office of the Moscow region.

"Taking into account the position of the representative of the Istra City Prosecutor's Office, an 18-year—old girl who participated in the beating and torture of teenagers has been given a preventive measure in the form of house arrest," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to the investigation, from August to November 2025, members of an organized criminal group created a rehabilitation center for teenagers in Dedovsk, where they systematically used violence against minors under the pretext of correcting their behavior. The court chose a preventive measure for the accused in the form of house arrest until January 22, 2026.

On the same day, a former employee of the rehabilitation center for teenagers, Anna Khobotova, told Izvestia that one of the center's consultants had an intimate relationship with underage students. According to her, the institution knew about the man's numerous intimate relationships with underage girls. After the center's administration decided to dismiss the employee, he left for Rostov-on-Don with a 16-year-old girl.

On November 25, a criminal case was opened in the Moscow suburb of Istra due to the torture and detention of 24 teenagers with various addictions in an illegal rehabilitation center. According to the investigation, psychologists were supposed to work with minors, but teenagers were beaten and tortured.

On the same day, Svetlana, the mother of Roman, a teenager who was admitted to the intensive care unit, said that teenagers at the Dedovsk rehabilitation center had been tortured, but at that time the parents thought that their children were studying with professional psychologists at the "elite center."
