Calls to dismiss the special envoy of the President of the United States, Steve Witkoff, are aimed at disrupting modest trends towards a settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. This was announced on November 26 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov to journalist Pavel Zarubin.
According to him, the Russian side is waiting for Witkoff's visit next week and expects detailed contacts with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
