Actress Aglaya Tarasov apologized to her viewers and asked the court for a lenient punishment in the case of drug smuggling. This was reported on November 26 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the Domodedovo Court of the Moscow region.

"I realized everything that happened. I am not a drug dealer or a drug dealer. I understand that I didn't have the proper responsibility and vigilance. This offense of mine has dealt a heavy blow to my relatives, grandmother and girls. It was a blow to my viewers, I want to ask them for forgiveness," Tarasova said in her last words.

Earlier that day, the prosecutor requested 3.5 years of imprisonment for Tarasova, suspended with a probation period of 3 years. Tarasova herself, speaking in court, repented of what she had done. The actress' lawyer called on the court to choose a more lenient punishment and impose a fine on Tarasova.

On November 26, Aglaya Tarasova donated 200 thousand rubles for the treatment of drug-addicted children. According to the actress' lawyer, Tarasova sent two payments of 100,000 rubles each, which are supposed to be intended for the treatment of patients and preventive conversations.

Tarasova was detained with drugs at Domodedovo airport on August 28. As a result of the search, an electronic cigarette with a narcotic substance was found in her suitcase. The investigation requested house arrest for the actress, she was charged under Part 1 of Article 229.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Drug smuggling"). Shortly after, the court ordered the actress to ban certain actions for two months as a preventive measure.

Also on November 5, Tarasova pleaded guilty in court in the case of drug smuggling. As Tarasova previously stated, she was forced to bring narcotic substances across the border by a medical diagnosis from a close relative, but the actress' words were not confirmed.
