Actress Tarasova donated money for the treatment of drug addicts
Actress Aglaya Tarasova, who was accused of drug smuggling, donated 200 thousand rubles for the treatment of drug-addicted children. This was reported on November 26 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the Domodedovo City Court.
According to the actress' lawyer, Tarasova sent two payments of 100 thousand rubles each, which are supposed to be intended for the treatment of patients and preventive conversations.
Tarasova herself, speaking in court, repented of what she had done, claiming that she did not know the exact composition of the vape with a narcotic substance, but assumed that there might be minor cannabis values. She noted that all this is considered legal in Israel.
Actors Leonid Yarmolnik, Evgeny Tsyganov and Yulia Snigir testified in the case of their colleague Tarasova on the same day. Domodedovo city court in a closed mode from the press examines the medical documents in the case of the actress.
Tarasova was detained with drugs at Domodedovo airport on August 28. As a result of the search, an electronic cigarette with a narcotic substance was found in her suitcase. The investigation requested house arrest for the actress, she was charged under Part 1 of Article 229.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Drug smuggling"). Shortly after, the court ordered the actress to ban certain actions for two months as a preventive measure.
Also on November 5, Tarasova pleaded guilty in court in a drug smuggling case. As Tarasova previously stated, she was forced to bring narcotic substances across the border by a medical diagnosis from a close relative, but the actress' words were not confirmed.
