Actress Aglaya Tarasova repented in court

Actress Aglaya Tarasova, who was accused of drug smuggling, repented during interrogation in the Domodedovo District Court. This was reported on November 26 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

"I broke the law and I'm very sorry," said the actress.

According to Tarasova, she did not know the exact composition of the vape with a narcotic substance, but assumed that there might be minor cannabis values. She noted that all this is considered legal in Israel.

Earlier that day, it was reported that actors Leonid Yarmolnik, Evgeny Tsyganov and Yulia Snigir had testified in the case of their colleague Tarasova. Domodedovo city court in a closed mode from the press examines the medical documents in the case of the actress.

Tarasova was detained with drugs at Domodedovo airport on August 28. As a result of the search, an electronic cigarette with a narcotic substance was found in her suitcase. The investigation requested house arrest for the actress, she was charged under Part 1 of Article 229.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Drug smuggling"). Shortly after, the court ordered the actress to ban certain actions for two months as a preventive measure.

Also on November 5, Tarasova pleaded guilty in court in a drug smuggling case. As Tarasova previously stated, she was forced to bring narcotic substances across the border by a medical diagnosis from a close relative, but the actress' words were not confirmed.
