Trump criticized the journalists of The New York Times newspaper
On November 26, US President Donald Trump attacked The New York Times (NYT) newspaper, accusing the publication's journalists of distorting facts.
"The bastards from the crumbling New York Times are at it again. I won the 2024 presidential election by a wide margin, winning all seven swing states. I've settled eight wars. <...> Despite all this, radical leftist lunatics in the soon-to-be-closed NYT wrote an article about me that I might be losing my energy, despite the fact that the facts suggest otherwise," he said in a post on his Truth Social page.
According to the American leader, the newspaper's reporters "know that this is not true, like almost everything they write" about him.
"This cheap newspaper is a real "enemy of the people." The author of the article, Katie Rogers, who is tasked with writing only bad things about me, is a third—rate reporter," Trump said.
The President also pointed to his "ideal physical" performance after a recent medical examination.
Prior to that, on November 15, Trump called on NBC to fire TV host Seth Myers, who had previously criticized him on his program. According to the American leader, Myers' show is suffering a ratings failure, and the host himself is "obsessed" with him and demonstrates "uncontrollable aggression."
